Job Description :
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, supporting discovery calls, solutioning, and technical validations.
- Understand customer requirements and map them to appropriate technical solutions and services.
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts to customers.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create proposals, solution architectures, and effort estimates.
- Build credibility with customer engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Support RFP/RFI responses with strong technical inputs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings
- Provide feedback from the field to internal product and delivery teams.
Requirements
4–5 years of experience in an engineering, consulting, SRE, DevOps, security, or platform-focused role.
Strong fundamentals in at least one of the following domains:
Security (SIEM, SOAR, SOC, Cloud Security, etc.)Observability / Monitoring
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
DevOps / SRE / Platform EngineeringExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Comfortable interacting with customers, including senior technical stakeholdersWillingness and motivation to move into a technical sales / pre-sales role
Prior experience in customer-facing roles (consulting, support, solutions engineering, pre-sales)
Exposure to SaaS products and enterprise customers
Experience working with tools like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic, cloud-native tools, or security platforms
Certifications in cloud or security technologies
Basic understanding of sales cycles, deal qualification, and value-based selling
