As part of the launch, Crest Data has introduced a suite of 10 enterprise-grade plugins designed to extend Grafana’s capabilities across IT operations and security ecosystems. These plugins integrate with platforms including Akamai, Dell PowerScale, Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, NetApp ONTAP, Proofpoint, Tableau, Zoom, and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA), enabling organizations to centralize critical telemetry within a unified observability layer.

“There are 170 data sources we have in our catalog, but we believe there is room for more data sources, more apps, for normal telemetry, but it goes a bit beyond: hardware, industrial, IoT.” says David Kalschmidt, VP of Engineering at Grafana Labs, during the GrafanaCON 2026 keynote, where he outlined how the Grafana Marketplace will support the continued, sustainable growth of these plugins.“We’ve started with a select group of partners now, and they have already built the first few apps, and they are already in the catalog.”

Crest Data’s plugins leverage Grafana’s query-in-place architecture, allowing organizations to access and visualize data without complex pipelines or heavy data movement, reducing infrastructure overhead and enabling faster deployment.

Initial use cases include visibility into enterprise storage systems such as NetApp ONTAP and real-time monitoring of network security traffic through Fortinet FortiGate, supporting faster troubleshooting, performance optimization, and threat detection within a single interface.

The plugins are available via the Grafana Marketplace.
